17/10/2010: For the Gelukpa University examination held in August 2010, the result was announced on 15th Oct. 2010 and from our monastery there were totally 13 students who gave the University exam. The result was good with 11 students who passed the exam and 2 students who failed in the exam. The administration office of the monastery congratulates the students on passing the University exam and appreciates their dedication and hard work towards their studies.

Each year more and more students take part in the Gelukpa examination and from the past examinations we have 6 Lharampa degree holders, which now totals to 7. They are responsible for taking philosophy lessons and setting up the examination pattern to the upcoming students in the monastery.

We have this time 2 students who passed the Lharampa (Ph.d degree equivalent) exam. One of the students named Nawang Zotpa (Adm. no. 557) passed the final exam and will be graduating with the Lharampa degree this year and other one named Lobsang Damchoe (Adm. no. 581) will be graduating next year with the Lharampa degree if he passes the final Lharampa exam next year.
