Tashi Lhunpo Monastery has began the construction of new temple work on 13th Nov 2010. Acting abbot of the monastery kachen Lobsang Sherab la ans all the senior monks of the monastery were present on the spot on the very first day of the construction. the architect of the New prayer hall is Mr. Sangey Choephel la from Dharamsala and Mr. Seena, the local contractor at Bylakuppe is a contractor.

We have four monks from our monastery, who take cares and supervise each and every details of the construction. 1. Lobsang Dorjee la, 2. Lobsang Dawa la,  3. Lobsang Thupten la and. Lobsang Samten la. We are in a best hope that construction will be able to complete in three years time.
