Since 1959 the Communist China
completely invaded Tibet and
till this year, for the last
forty-nine years, the Peoples
Republic of China disinclined a
systematic policy based on
unjust, demographic change,
genocide of Tibetan culture,
consecutive derogatory remarks
to HH the Dalai Lama, head of
spiritual and temporal leader of
Tibetans and abduction of the
second highest spiritual leader
the 11th Panchen Lama etc.
Finally the endurance of the
Tibetans broke on 10th March
this year in Lhasa and then
spread to all over Tibet based
on justice and non-violent means
three slogans against the
Chinese Government—Free Tibet,
reinstate HH Dalai Lama and
release of the 11th Panchen Lama
Gedun Choekyi Nyima unanimously
heard. However, the Peoples
Republic of China without any
consideration for finding about
the root problem, heavy Chinese
military clampdown was in swift
repression and everywhere
persecutions of the Tibetans
were in abundance, in which
around one hundred and fifty
have been killed, thousands
detained without proper
information and several dozens
were brutally injured. The
present situation in Tibet
continues to deteriorating.
In
order to show our solidarity and
support for the cause of Tibet,
the 25 monks of Tashi Lhunpo
Monastery, South India are on
hunger strike at Jantar Mantar
in Delhi from 18th April 2008 to
25th April 2008. And also 45
monks will stage hunger strike
on the very birthday of His
Holiness the Panchen Lama (25th
April 2008. We the monks here
put forth the ensuing five
resolutions to the Peoples
Republic of China, Amnesty
International, Human Rights
Commission, United Nations
Organization and Red Cross for
immediate action.

the Dalai Lama on the Tibet
issue without any
pre-conditions;

Gedun Choekyi Nyima including
Jadrel Rinpoche who are not
found guilty by any law of the
land; and

UNO, Amnesty International, Red
Cross and Doctors Sans Frontiers
or other independent
fact-finding delegations to
assess the recent unrest’s real
situation in Tibet and allow

reality
